A collaboration of the well-known Japanese single malt whiskey, YAMAZAKI and our KUROCO series. The energetic stripe design on the glass reminds you of the beautiful and strong bamboo forests of Yamazaki area on the suburbs of Kyoto, a place famous for the exquisite water and home of the whiskey. We have placed an original logo “YAMAZAKI x KUROCO” on the bottom of the glass.

The world famous luxury department store, Barneys New York has stores in Manhattan, New York and other place worldwide. In Japan, stores are located in Ginza, Shinjuku, Yokohama, Kobe, and in addition, new store was launched in Hakata in September 2011. We have proposed to roll out glasses in men’s apparel collection. The product was co-braded by Barneys New York and KIMOTO GLASS TOKYO.

PUERTA DEL SOL is the Rock & Luxury concept brand with chess knight motifs by Tomoyasu Hirano. The high status brand with many celebrity fans has collaborated with our high-end model glass “INNERBLACK”. We have applied their logo in gold, and created a glass to enjoy the blissful time.

TOKYO BAYCOURT CLUB HOTEL & SPA RESORT is a luxurious membership system resort hotel, run by Resorttrust, Inc. An executive resort within Tokyo is the main concept, and it is placed in an exquisite location overlooking the Bay Bridge in Odaiba, Tokyo. The profound and black color based luxurious goblet with the original shape was adopted for the guest rooms.

Tokyu Department Store 80th Anniversary Original Edo Kiriko glass design

The Tokyu Department Store, a core company of the Tokyu Group, celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2014. We worked together with the head designer from Zero First Design, Mr. Kiyoshi Satogawa, to create a commemorative whiskey glass for the company. We used Edo Kiriko faceting based on the wrapping paper design of Shirakiya, the predecessor of the former Tokyu Department Store in Nihonbashi, to realize a modern yet innovative design. The result is a novel form of Edo Kiriko.

The series was produced in collaboration with Dentsu Inc. and umari Inc. By utilizing traditional Japanese crafts and techniques from a variety of regions, the company is developing products that will be widely used for generations by people of all ages, from children, who are the future of Japan, to their families. We were in charge of production of this series of glasses featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse through various ages.

A collaboration between Suntory Old Whisky and our funew line, which upcycles discarded bottles into tableware. From the impressive bottle design that has become popularly known as Daruma, we produced trays and bowls through the funew processing method. These items allow you to fully enjoy the deep charm of Suntory Old, loved for over half a century.
Suntory Kakubin × funew

A collaboration between Suntory Kakubin and our funew line, which upcycles discarded bottles into tableware. From the square bottle known as Kakubin, we created a funew-processed tray. The original turtle shell bottle design has been loved for over half a century and is truly universal. We have transformed it into tableware with the very same design which has remained unchanged since its release in 1937.

Project “Tokyo Glass Lab”
The Goldfish Bowl is the first work in our original project exploring unknown possibilities of glass and imagining new values. The piece conveys strong form and exquisite quality, and is the result of a collaboration between three notable creators: Mr. Toshio Takizawa, the first Edo Kiriko glass artisan ever to be awarded the Zuihoshou (“Order of the Sacred Treasure”), Mr. Makoto Kojima, a glass artist who finishes crystal glass by air-blowing without molds, and Mr. Kaoru Kasai, an art director highly regarded for his advertisements for Suntory Oolong Tea and United Arrows.

Based on the concept of "unlikely everyday items," this is a collection of groundbreaking products, including items essential for daily life as well as by | n meister, a series developed with Japanese craftsmen. Our company has created the Edo Kiriko cs Collection as a product line for by | n meister. This is a new type of Edo Kiriko faceting in which a single vertical or horizontal spiral or parabolic pattern is formed by one-stroke cutting.

We worked with designer Nakamura Yosuke to create these glasses. The motif of these glasses is based on the form of a Masu, a box from which sake is commonly drunk in Japan. The transparency of the glass and the internal shape softly enveloping the liquid emphasise the sacred beauty of sake. The Toyama Product Design Competition is the first design competition in Japan based on the premise of commercialisation. It is a meeting place not only for companies and designers to compete for prizes, but also to find partners for subsequent commercialisation and more.
