Inspired by the rice’s spherical shape, “Mai (meaning rice in Japanese)” is a stylish glass suited to enjoy sake. Like various types of sake are established depending on the ratio of how much the rice is polished, the variety in the designs of the glass is conceived by this process. The slim figured glass is called “Seven” and the rounder glass is called “Three”. These names originate from the rice polishing ratio, 70% - 30%.
